How much more can we take? The surf situation on the Northern Beaches is dire. Everyone is over the slop Huey, please send us some love.
It's funny how much your expectations lower in Summer. A messy 2 footer comes through and everyone froths. "Did you see that one?" "That one had the sickest little ramp on it!" "I'm out there!"
As usual Autumn will blow our minds. Yew!

There are a total of 3 Northern Beaches images from the past dismal week in this update. The rest of the images are snaps I held onto from my recent Hawaii trip. Hopefully they help keep you stoked or inspire you to book a trip on the next flight out of here... Cali has waves but it's cold, Hawaii is the pick (it is pumping right now) and Bali sounds inviting: warm, cheap and has a better chance of waves than here at home right now.

	Billabong Pro Junior: On right now at North Narra. The worlds most talented young surfers have taken over the beach and are tearing every single rideable wave to pieces. Get down there and watch some of the action or catch it all LIVE online. Local Northy chick Laura Enever had a ripper of a heat this morning dominating over fellow Aussie Tyler Wright.
	The Cove: If you have not yet seen this movie, go find it. I watched it on a plane back from Hawaii and it hit me hard. Go to the website now, watch the trailer and get involved. It is heavy what is going on in this small Japanese town, with thousands of Dolphins being slaughtered in secret every year.

When will this wave drought end? There are rumours people... Only rumours of a new swell for early next week. We can only hope.
Water is warm and the weather is epic, so out there anyway!

Morning Report: Waves 2ft, swell NE ,wind WNW 20-35 knots easing. Blowing like stink offshore which has cleaned up yesterdays wind swell nicely but will continue to erode the size, 2ft on open beaches , hit it early as the tides on the way out and there will be a few hollow ones on offer before swells ironed out, winds will ease up later,,check Coastalwatch swell forecast.
